Has someone been able to code an example of the SIMPLE algorithm in 2-D??

Im trying to create a code to calculate the flow of a gas in a packed bed using the SIMPLE algorith. The characteristc is that the are two inputs of gas; one on top and the other in the center. These inputs produce a mixing effect and therefore a 2-d flow field.

When I apply the algorithm the pressure correction equations go unstable (im using Upwind discretisation).

Is it laminar or turbulent? If turbulent, which model did you use?

It is a laminar flow, low reynolds within the packed bed
