Hi,
Do you mean strength of the vortex ? if so, Strength of vortex simply depends on value of circulation(V.dS) due to that vortex. Thanks, Vinayender. |

Hi as of my knowledge is concern circulation is gamma is integral of v.ds over the boundary and it is used as the strength of the vortex can u explain us what u want

what if the vortex is not a circle then where should we choose the center to calculate the vorticity? another problem is that there is not a clear border for it.

Hi as of I know vortex is one which has circular stream lines whose velocity varies inversely with the radius. so as you move far away from the origin the function decays and dies out
