artifical compressilblity method for incompressibl
Dear friends: I have some questions abou the artificial compressibility method for the steady incompressble flow. since the ACM add an unsteay term in the continuity equation. but i want solve a steady problem. so how to implement this method. would you please give me some detai about it. regards

Re: artifical compressilblity method for incompres
For steady problems, the time is a fictitious term and you march in time until the solution has converged. Look for papers by Kwak ( you may find it in NASA repositories too).

Re: artifical compressilblity method for incompres
Dear ztdep,
Using the 'Penalty Method' is a nice, simple way to perform 'almost-incompressible' fluid flow calculations - marching forwards in time. Take a look at the <www.freefem.org> site I mentioned in another message, or try the site <www.adthermtech.com/wordpress3> for some papers mentioning use of this method. Regards, mw... |
