How can I use simple or constant interpolation for boundary conditions of level set equation? what about periodic or extrapolating boundary condition? thanks.

April 29, 2016, 15:05 Is your problem solved? #6 New Member   HVR Mittal Join Date: Apr 2016 Posts: 1 Rep Power: 0 Hi, I am also using level set evolution to track moving interfaces. I am using one sided higher order differences to discretise derivative of \phi. Though, I am able to capture the interface at later times but there are garbage values at boundaries. Could anybody suggest how to discretise the gradient of \phi at the boundaries. Thanks
