v2f model?

hi

i want to apply v2f model to channel flow(Ret=395, based on friction velocity and channel half width).

but i don't know what epsilon equation is adequate.

what low reynolds number epsilon equation is good for v2f? Launder-Sharma? Chien? Jones-Launnder?

does v2f model need low reynolds number epsilon equation for low re number channel flow?

i need your help.........

Re: v2f model?

Read the Prof. Durbin's Papers, for example

Medic and Durbin, 2002, "Toward Improved Prediction of Heat Transfer on Turbine Blades" ASME Journal of Turbomachinery, Vol. 124, pp.187-192.

Re: v2f model?

Thank you Halim

I review the paper you recommanded.

Your message is that time boundary is needed.

Is that right?

Then, Is no damping function needed for Ce2(coefficient dissipation of epsilon) of epsilon eq.?

Re: v2f model?

Yes, no damping function needed for Ce2(coefficient dissipation of epsilon) of epsilon eq. Time scale is imposed (instead of usual k/epsion) in the epsilon equation.
