v2f model?
hi
i want to apply v2f model to channel flow(Ret=395, based on friction velocity and channel half width). but i don't know what epsilon equation is adequate. what low reynolds number epsilon equation is good for v2f? Launder-Sharma? Chien? Jones-Launnder? does v2f model need low reynolds number epsilon equation for low re number channel flow? i need your help......... |
Re: v2f model?
Read the Prof. Durbin's Papers, for example
Medic and Durbin, 2002, "Toward Improved Prediction of Heat Transfer on Turbine Blades" ASME Journal of Turbomachinery, Vol. 124, pp.187-192. |
Re: v2f model?
Thank you Halim
I review the paper you recommanded. Your message is that time boundary is needed. Is that right? Then, Is no damping function needed for Ce2(coefficient dissipation of epsilon) of epsilon eq.? |
Re: v2f model?
Yes, no damping function needed for Ce2(coefficient dissipation of epsilon) of epsilon eq. Time scale is imposed (instead of usual k/epsion) in the epsilon equation.
