Dear Sir/Madam

I have developed a computer code for solving Navier-Stokes equations in two dimensional incompressible flow, in non-orthogonal curvilinear coordinate system. I have checked the results of my code by some experimental data that I had in cartesian coordinate systems (for example : cavity flow, Couette flow and ...). Now, I need some specified data for testing my code in curvilinear state. you will be very kind to me if send me some specified examples in this coordinate (for laminarc flow).

best regards.

Salam:

You may want to check the site: http://www.lerc.nasa.gov/www/wind/valid/validation.html

It has a some good test cases done by Nparc or Wind.

Also a very good incompressible test case is: the backward facing step which a complete experimental data are available, see Armaly, JFM, (1983).

Another good incompressible test case to look at is the lubrication problem, i.e. low Reynold number Coutte flow in varying gap, see F.M. White text.

Best
