Hello,
I have a question, I've been tasked to create a mesh that models a 3 stage gas turbine. The turbine has a series of 3-D blades for both stator and rotor stages. Is there a way I can use a 3D cad model of the turbine and create the flow channels for the blades versus using turbogrid or gturbo in gambit. Moreover, the design has a series of seals at hub and tip locations that will probably require tet meshing can anyone recommend a procedure to extract the needed geometry from a CAD model into either ICEMCFD or Gambit.
Thanks
