Adiabatic Flame Temperature

Hi, do you have any information about adiabatic flame temperature for mix of coal dust and excessive air? Thanks for response!

Hi You need the NCV or net calorific value for the specific coal dust you want to "burn", the composition of the coal (%carbon, moisture, sulphur and nitrogen, etc). And then the first law of thermodynamics will assist in the rest:Q +sum(mh)_reactants = sum(mh)_products. Most thermodynamic handbooks should have a section on combustion. It involves chemical balance as well from inputs above. Regards Jean
