flow past a sphere

I caculated the flow past a sphere. Now I have a question. How can I obtain the following field parameters from the flow field

separation angle on the sphere

the length and center of the vortex

Any help much appreciated!

flow over a sphere

Hi Chan
Flow separates where there is reverse flow close to the surface of the sphere. This normally happens around 80 degrees for lamianar bl and 120 deg for turbulent bl. I donot know why does it separate before 90 deg in lamainar case as there is favourable pressure grdient on the front surface. Do have some idea.
