multigrid for laplace equation
has any one attempted to write code for multigrid method for laplace equation ?

You don't need to write for several cycles. You need to put it in a loop and repeat the cycles untill converges. I wrote it in a new version of Fortran (fortran 95, or 2003). You need to use recursive subroutine (not exist in fortran 77). It can be V-cycle or W cycle, based on your parameter. If gamma=1 , it will be V cycle, 2 or more, will be W. Because of some copyright restrictions, I am not allowed to send the code. But if you have any problem, pls feel free to ask.

ya thank you so much.. i have to write 7 stage v cycle code, its just a project in my multigrid class. once i start with it will as you .. can you give me ur email address.. i'd be writing it in matlab..

It is possible to write several stages, but it is really not necessary. You can put a loop from 1 to 7, replacing of writing 7 stages. email:
