Default Inlet turbulent boundary condition, external flows

Dear all;

I want to simulate an external turbulent flow. To set the turbulence boundary conditions, there are some formulations in the literatures, but unfortunately they are just for internal flows (duct flow).

How can I calculate the in-flow K and Epsilon for an external flow, for example the flow around a flat plate.

best regards, Roozbeh

You might want to look into 'free flight' boundary conditions that are/were used for wind tunnel modeling. And, symmetry bc's
