ISLE Cluster Manager and User Portal Now Available on SGI AND non-SGI Systems

ISLE Cluster Manager, which includes the Clusterworx technology that SGI acquired from Linux Nertworx in 2008 has been available on the Altix XE since October. The 1.1 release now available supports SGI Altix XE servers as well a wide variety of linux-based servers from other manufacturers like Linux Networx, Dell, HP, and others through its support for IMPI, DRAC, and ILO interfaces.

ISLE Cluster Manager supports high levels of scalability and performance, fast multicast provisioning, version controlled image management, and an event management subsystem.
