particle-air mixing

I have to design a "turbulator" which could distribute a vertical incoming stream of fly ash particles with a size range between 1 - 250 micron (from a feeder) uniformly across a rectangular horizontal duct (approx. 800x1000). The air is flowing from left to right in the duct at a speed of approx 20 m/s. The design is for an experimental facility.

Could anyone refer me to existing "turbulators" or suggest devices which could be tested numerically using CFD ?

Regards Günther

Hi,

I saw that you got no answer. I don't know anything about turbulators or devices, but if you need any help with the modeling of the two-phase flow to model the particles-air fluid, then let us know. I can give some very good references on that, and I can try to answer some of your specific questions.
