Dear Experts,
It will be great if someone can explain the application of volume mesh models in starccm... i.e when to use the polyhedral mesh, trimmed mesh, advance layer meshing, prism layer, thin mesh.. etc..

Thanking you,
Sidharth.

These meshing models are covered in detail in the Star-CCM+ user manual. I strongly recommend you also do a literature survery of the impact of polyhedral vs. hexahedral mesh and near wall meshing requirements.
