Step import Extrude -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Diger Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2015 Posts: 135 Rep Power: 10	So I imported a STEP file and draw a plane through a surface of my imported model and then draw a circle. What I wanted to do now was to use the extrude option with the german name "Fläche mit Prägung versehen", which I dont know the name in english of. So its not cuting, or freeze or add material but I just want an area I can later specify as a component. But this feature in extrude doesnt show up?! Why is that?
