Using Eddy Break Up model
Dear members
I have a gas mixture of CO2,CO,H2O,H2,O2,CH4 and N2. I assume following one step reactions are occuring CO+0.5O2=CO2 H2+0.5O2=H2O CH4+1.5O2=CO+H2O CO+H2O=CO2+H2 CO2+H2=CO+H2O I want to apply the eddy break up model for the above reactions and conservation of the above species. I am not sure how the eddy break up model(the below equations) are applied https://upload.wikimedia.org/math/1/...6c5dc94b5f.png |

Hello Upuli, I wanted to do something similar, i.e. implement eddy break-up model in OpenFoam. Can you kindly tell me how to implement Eddy-break up model in Openfoam. Is it already available in Openfoam? Thank You |
Hello
Eddy diffusivity model is available in openfoam/src/Turbulencemodels/compressible. If you want to add eddy breakup model, you have to write it by your own and add it to the turbulence models library. |
