SIMPLEN algorithm in Ansys Flotran

Hi all, can anybody tell me what does SIMPLEN stands for ?? i used the SIMPLEN coupling algorithm as i read that this one have been added recently to flotran and that it is better than SIMPLEF .... i want also to ask can i use it for turbulent models??? or should it only be used for steady on?? thank you
