Hi all,
I'm approaching to simulate a drying plant, in particular I have to simulate a oil pomace drying process.

The combustion is made in a fixed bed furnace from dry oil pomace. I'm interested in simulate the iteration between flame (radiant heat transfer), exhaust gas from combustion (convective heat transfer) and the undried oil pomace.

I know that simulate heterogenous combustion is a real pain and i'm not interested in doing this. There is a way to simulate radiant and convective heat transfer without simulate combustion? any advice trying to keep information on flames?
It's important to evaluate the radiant heat iteration.

Thank you
