Hi all
Can anyone tell me how can i reduce simulation duration in "Explicit Dynamic Analysis". I am using a very crude mesh but wen i click "solve" simulation time goes upto 12 hrs or more!!. I need to see my results and make amendments accordingly which is why i need it to end in less time. Also please comment on the "maximum number of cycles".... how it effects the solution results. Perhaps you can take advantage of any symmetry in your model. This greatly reduces the simulation time. Without any more information on the model/simulation, it is hard to speak to how many iterations you should run.
