Surfboard design
 

What is the BEST software application for use in surfboard design, particularly concerning hull shape, fin design, turning and movement through the water/wave? Having said that, I would also like to know the most accessible package for a hydrodynamic novice. Thank You.

A friend of mine, Gunther Migeotte is currently doing a PhD on hydrofoil assisted catamarans at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. This sounds like something he will be able to help you with.
