Multiphysics: I am interested in cfd simulation coupled with thermal, electromagnetic, free surface, radiation, multi-phase problems with commercial codes, but i am not sure which code could be the right one for my purposes.

Hi Alexander,

For an excellently-priced package - with the features you are looking for have a look at Flo++.

Website at http://www.softflo.com

I am using Flo++, and the rate-of-development of new interfaces to suit my environment, coupled with the excellent service by the technical support team - have been really great.

Give them a try: Contact - Louis Le Grange if you have any additional questions.

Have fun...

Best regards,

Des Aubery (adTherm Technologies)

Recently I have had a chance to work on a problem that involved free-surface, surface tension, fluid-structure interaction, electrostatics. A very interesting problem indeed.

My colleagues regularly are involved in development and use of multi-physics capabilites in CFD-ACE+. These problems have included use of electromagnetics, plasma transport, free-surface, fluid-structural-thermal interaction, radiation. Visit our website http://www.cfdrc.com to find out some neat examples.

If you would like more information, please send us an email at info@cfdrc.com (or to rmm@cfdrc.com).

You might consider RADIOSS-CFD. A fully coupled fluid structure solver. www.mcube.fr
