CFX/PHOENIX

Is there anyone, who can tell us which of the CFD(CFX or PHOENIX) is better to simulate combustion? Thanks

Re: CFX/PHOENIX

What type of combustion (gas, oil, spray, coal ...) and what about the domain (simple, complex, moving cylinders )?

Re: CFX/PHOENIX

PHOENIX CAN BE VERY GOOD FOR CAD OBJECT. DO NOT NEED A BFC GRID FOR MOST CASES.

Re: CFX/PHOENIX

I think, CFX or TASCflow ist the better tool for combustion, because of that PHOENICS has some problems in following the development in CFD. Have a look at the programs.
