solidification process
 

I am trying to analyse the heat flow problem of solidification process especially in the Mushy Zone by using Fastflo software (PDE Solver). I found that Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) approach is one of the best solution for solving this problem. I need more information about this ALE approach especially when adapting this method in FEM. How should I start with this method?. Thanks in advance.
