What books does an expert suggest to learn or rather to enter into the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics? This may help many of my friends too!

There are many methods in CFD. If you are interested in finite volume based CFD, the following book is extremely good:

Computational Methods for Fluid Dynamics by Joel Ferziger, Milovan Peric / Published 1996 or 1999

This is a very popular book - you may order it through Internet http://www.amazon.com.

(1). You should check out David Creech's book online, under this Resources section. (2). It is a complete collection of CFD related books with brief reviews, and places where you can get.

I would also suggest Computational Fluid Dynamics, The Basics with Applications, by John D. Anderson, Jr.
