gas velocity from source term

i am using CFX4.3.my doubt is regarding reference example 41(examples given with the software).i would like to know, how does one calculate gas velocity from a knowledge of the source term?the second query is Ref.example 42(MUSIG model in a pipe).in the example, both gas&liquid flow.can it be modified where liquid is held in a batch mode, while gas is passed from the bottom

Perhaps you should ask your question in the CFX/AEA technology section that's devoted to users of AEA products. Those folks will have more specialized information.
