Hi all

I would be gratefull if anyone, had information related to the vorticity form of the instaneous navier stokes equations in Cylindrical coordinate form. Also what approximations are would be important in deriving the quasi cylindrical form of these equations in cyclindrical coordinates.

Thanking you in advance, for your help.

regards Philip

Consult the book "Fundamental Equations of Fluid Mechanics" by Klaus Hoffman et al. This large volume has all the various equations of FLuid Mechanics expressed in practically evry popular co-ordinate system.
