Hi:

I need to know the upper and lower coordinates of the NACA airfoils, say 0012 and 2412. That is to make some benchmarking on them. I wonder if you know where I can find such an info please let me know.

Thanks. Mohammad

"Theory of Wing Sections" by Abbott and Von Doenhoff (ISBN 486-60586-8) has profiles for many NACA airfoils in it. It's an old book, but you may be able to find a copy at your local large college library.

Check the "Resources/References/Airfoils" section of this web-site. There are several links there to airfoil-sites with coordinate databases etc.

I think it is safe to make your own thread when this one is 11+ years old!

Anyways:

http://www.mh-aerotools.de/airfoils/javafoil.htm

1) go to that site above

2) click "The Applet"

3) Change the pulldown menu to NACA 6-digit

4) change "thickness location" to 60 and hit Create Airfoil

5) might want to use the "Modify NACA section to have a closed trailing edge"
