Default ventilation modeling

Hello,

I plan to model ventilation in a fume hood enclosure (reasonably simple box-like geometry). Will need to solve incompressible NS and potentially would like to compare different turbulence (0-eq., k-eps (regular, low Re, variations), LES) to an experiment for a given configuration. Could anyone recommend a public-domain 2D/3D code with some grid generation (2D/3D) capabilities. Thank you.

(1). It is more or less like a post-doctoral project. (2). I am not sure whether there is a free code to solve the problem or not. (3). But I think, you could try to use the current general purpose commercial codes. (4). At least, they should be able to cover the geometry and the mesh, to some extent. (5). I have modelled this types of problem before, using my own 3-D code and commercial codes. (6). The real problem is fairly complicated. So, in most cases, the geometry, the physics both must be simplified, including the boundary conditions.
