Default Laminar gas flow at low Re in tubes

We are looking for fundamental studies of laminar gas flows at low Reynolds Numbers (Re < 1) in tubes. Specifically, what is the effect of self-diffusivity on the parabolic velocity profile predicted by the Navier-Stokes Equations? And how do you model the forces due to self-diffusivity, if at all?
