I am now doing mesh generation on the "disgusting" surface. Can anybody tell me how to float the point on the boundary of this surface.

Thanks, John

As a principle, try to build the geometric model with smaller and simpler surface patches. At that point, it is easier to distribute points along the edge curves of the surface patch for a successful surface mesh generation. You need that for a successful volume mesh generation. " divide the surface into smaller , simpler surface patches ". For complex geometry, sometimes you need to work with several hundreds small surface patches. ( this may not be the right answer for you because of the definition of your question.)

Thanks for your response. However your idea may be more suitable for fixed boundary as I am not using it. But I 'll try to put into my problem.

Thanks again.
