SIMPLER METHOD AGAIN
Can anyone tell me,which the book describe about SIMPLER algorithm and the fortran computer program to sloving 2D incompressible fluid flow problem with this algorithm. Thank you.

Re: SIMPLER METHOD AGAIN
You can try this book.

Re: SIMPLER METHOD AGAIN
Hi, ZY Sun
Is that the text book which you advise me ,can be show FORTRAN program? Where I can get its? I come from Thailand where dificult to find only fresh the text book. Please tell me, where I can buy this book. Thank you
Re: SIMPLER METHOD AGAIN
For the programes: you can ftp onto the following address, and then download them.
ftp://ftp.springer.de/pub/technik/peric/ For the book: maybe you can find some books by Patankar instead of the book, or any other CFD books because the SIMPLER method is not new one, it has already been there for several decadeyears. General speaking, there is a introduction of SIMPLE method in a CFD book, I am 99% sure, you can find SIMPLER method in the same book. good luck

Re: SIMPLER METHOD AGAIN
Hello, ZY Sun Thank you very much for you advised me. I try to find the program in ftp.,but I can not see it. Please tell me again. I would like asking you to the SIMPLER ALGORITHM program with POWERLAW to solving the 2D steady incompressible fluid flow. In Thailand,We have less the information in this field. I need to use them in my study.

Re: SIMPLER METHOD AGAIN
Hello, Maurizio Barbato Where can I get this book ,and this book can be show the fortran program. I have been had S.V Patankar ,1980. But I try to created the program to solving this problem with myself, but it is not successfully.Help me,please.
Thank you. H.setthapong
Re: SIMPLER METHOD AGAIN
Dear H.Setthapong,
unfortunately none of these two books gives the Fortran code. If you want to buy the books, the Blackwell web site can be a good start, but it will take some time to deliver unless the books are on stock and you choose the expensive Express Courier option for the shipping. I cannot be of big help to you for what concerns the codes, because I do not know web or ftp sites where you can find FORTRAN codes already developed for the SIMPLE(R)(C) methods. Sorry and best wishes Maurizio
Re: SIMPLER METHOD AGAIN
Hi, H.setthapong, Regarding the POWERLAW, I have to say sorry, I am not familiar to it. I am not able to supply you more help. Hopely, other netmate who knows the method could give you a help in this region.
Good luck Yours ZY
Re: SIMPLER METHOD AGAIN
(1) To develope computer code for this method, you must be taken care about source term generation or source term linierization. The small error in writting this term can give the large unconvergence. (2) Please be careful to write code of Boundary conditions. In my opinion, it is powerful to apply SIMPLE/SIMPLER method with Power Law Scheme.

All you want is in "Numerical Heat Tranfer"(in Chinese),written by Tao Wenquan,Xi'an JiaoTong University Press ,1988
