Geometric Conservation Law (GCL)

Hi,everybody,

When simulating a rigid body moving in fluid,I want to let the mesh moving rigidly and synchronously with the body,so I only need to change the outer boundary condition at every time step.so the transformation relation between the physics plane and the computation domain is fixed and donot change with time,if so,I think I can abandon the GCL in my code,is it correct?

Thank you for your time

James

Yes, I'm sure you're correct. Only when using a grid _deformation_ method do you need the GCL.
