error analysis and finite difference methods

I study compressible flows (systems of conservation laws and the numerical techniques developed in this field, specially those by Jameson and his team. I've been searching something about numerical analysis and a posteriori error estimates (mainly with finite difference discretization) on these schemes. Would someone possibly help me?

Re: error analysis and finite difference methods

Hi,

At the risk of being labelled a parrot (for repeating the same thing again and again in this forum), there is a paper in the Annual reviews of Fluid Mechanics by Roache titled "uncertainities in CFD" or something of that sort.

It is available on the web in the Annual reviews website.

I have tried to find the article you mentioned on the annnual reviews of fluid mechanics web site unsuccessfully.

Can you be more specific about its whereabouts you help is appreciated

Re: error analysis and finite difference methods

There is nothing more necessary than already mentioned Selecting the search option in the Ann. Rev. Fluid Mechanics and typing Roache as the author suffices!!!
