Default Horizontal Capillary Flow...

Hi,

I would like to understand the phenomena of Horizontal Capillary Flow of a viscous fluid between parallel plates in detail. Is there some analytical derivation of the (asymmetric ?) fluid-air profile due to gravity? How does the parabolic profile changes to become concave, on what length scale?

If someone could point out some references or even numerical codes or programs that deal with this problem, that would be of much help.

Regards, Gerald
