Re: About CFD in INTERNET
(1). CFD is a very broad field. (2). In additions to the text books listed in the forum/Books section, I would suggest that you first pick a simple flow problem, and then go through the Journal paper search to identify the cfd related papers. (3). From there, you can learn the governing equations used, the formulation and the boundary conditions, the mesh generation, and the results. In that way, you will have a good overall view of the CFD related to the particular problem. From there, you should be able to find the background information about the equations, the numerical formulations, the mesh generation, and even the turbulence modeling. (4). There is no such thing as basic mesh generation, or basic turbulence modelling. I mean, you will have to learn the whole thing to be able to solve your particular problem. This is the reason why the PhD level is required, because of the effort and the time involved in CFD related "component technology".

Re: About CFD in INTERNET
I fully agree with John here. Internet can not replace books, journal or teachers. CFD is a very broad field. Once you know what flows interest you, as John suggested, look for books, journal papers on those types of flows. Internet provides very sketchy incomplete technical information. It is however very useful in searching for a person or a publication. So it just points you to the right places but is not one itself.
