I need to implement some simulations in small scale (in the scale of some milimeters) so I can derive closure equations for my full scale simulations. My subject is porous media. As is the first time I'll do it, I would like to ask you, cfd gurus, about rules ( if there are) on DNS. Particularly I'm concerned with the boundary conditions. Some bibliographical or other kind of sources would be more than welcome.

A general rule about grid spacing at the wall: for LES: y+ = 1. for DNS: y+ = 0.1
