(1). CFD is "numerical analysis and math modeling in fluid mechanics". It covers a broad field of engineering and sciences. (2). Perhaps a better way to find a good university in CFD is to define the field of application first. From there, one can go to the library and dig through the cfd related journals. And from the authors of the technical papers, one should be able to find his(or her) association with the university. (3). It is hard to say what is good and what is bad in CFD. You are likely to find that some universities are doing cfd research, while others are not. (4). So, you must identify the professors who are doing research and publishing cfd papers in the first place. It is also important to know the professor's background, whether it is in the mesh generation, algorithm development, applications , etc... (5). I think, you should be able to find out these information at the library. (or even the online journals)

From my point of view it is Mississippi, definitely. You people in the US cannot be saved. (What kind of discussion is this?)

(1). I am sure that there are many other good universities in US with good CFD research programs. (2).I think, it is called "defensive driving".(trying to avoid collisions).
