I can not read French but I can perhaps get some one to interpret for me. At least, I can understand the type of splitting by looking at the equations. Could you e-mail me the relevant chapters.
There are a couple of papers on implicit fractional step methods in JCP that might interest you. The first one by Hahn and Choi (JCP97) deals with structured meshes and the second by Kim and Choi (JCP00) deals with unstructured meshes. Once again, these papers deals with incompressible flows only.
