I'm begining with the unstructured grids finite-volume method and I'd like to know wich are the basic references on this topic, mainly articles (not books). I'm interested in the discretization treatment and information storage.

Time is passing by with no response to your question. That's because you're digging into one of the many unspoken secrets of commercial CFD packages. This topic is sorted out quite well, but you will not find much documentation on this.

To understand FVM for unstructured meshes best, it is advisable to be exposed to an alternative way of thinking. In this the thesis of Jasak, referenced at: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forum/main.cgi?read=17592 will help you a lot. This will teach you to think "control volume face area" wise. Once you understand the concept of unstructuredness, you will realise there is not much in it and that's probably why articles are lacking.

It does not go too deep into each sub-topics but you can find many useful references there.
