S-Shaped circular duct!

HI,

Any body has the paper titled : An experimental Investigation of Secondary flows in a S-Shaped circular ducts.

Author : Vakili. A.

Or else, If any body has solved this bench mark problem earlier, can you please pass over the inlet total pressure, total temperature and outlet static pressure.

Thanks,

Ravi.

Re: S-Shaped circular duct!

I am not sure but I think that this benchmark can be found either in Nparc or Ercoftac validations cases.

Take a look a resources/validation section.

The problem was solved as a demo by

P. He, M. Salcudean, I. S. Gartshore and P. Nowak, "Multigrid Calculation of Fluid Flows in Complex 3D Geometries Using Curvilinear Grids," Computers & Fluids, Vol 25, #4, pp. 395-419, 1996.

Re: S-Shaped circular duct!

you can find an S duct example at the NPARC validation server.

The address is http://www.grc.nasa.gov/www/wind/valid/sduct/sduct.html

Re: S-Shaped circular duct!

I used Pepsi(developed by NASA Lewis) to design boeing 727 s duct and validate with full scale ground test data. You can see the results in my AIAA paper around 1992.
