secondary flow in microchannels

does secondary flow occurs in microchannels (100x100um)?

Re: secondary flow in microchannels

(1). In any channel flow, if the channel is long enough (relative to the channel width or height), and if the flow is fully-developed, I would say that it will be at most 2-D (for pipe flow, it will be 1-D). (2). If the channel is not a straight channel, the flow will be 3-D.
