Hi,

I have got result files from a flow over an airfoil with standard k-eps-model with wall functions. Is it possible (and senseful) to calculate from the results the momentum thickness at certain chord positions ?

Regards,

Mark

(1). Assuming that you are not interested in the wall function region, then some kind of interpolation is required because the momentum thickness is defined in terms of the boundary layer coordinates. (in this case, it is normal to the local wall)
