Dear All
We have developed an adaptive finite volume flow solver based on multiscale analysis. It uses second order reconstruction method based on Green-Gauss scheme and Van Leer flux vector splitting scheme.Monotonicity is enforced using Venkatakrishnan limiter. The data structure is unstructured with initial quadrilateral cells.Hanging nodes are allowed. Tiemintegration is done based on 3-step Runge-Kutta Method. I run a test case of 2D double ellipsoid at MachNumber=8.15, angle of attack=30. The c_p distribution on the wall looks very smooth and well comparable with other investigators. But Mach number distribution on the wall has lot of oscillations. What could be the reasons for this oscillation? All suggestions are welcome. With regards Sanjeev |
