Dear Sir,
For SIMPLER scheme (Patankar, 1980), in step pressure equation is solved and its solution is treated as guessed pressure. Now, my question is whether the pressure used on the right side of the equations will be the pressure obtained from the solution of pressure equation from the last iteration for successive iterations or it will just be a zero pressure field. If using a staggered grid and not specifying the pressure on the surface, then on that particular surface, lets say the west surface a_west and P_west would both be zero in the pressure correction equation.
Hope that helps What are you trying to solve for Kunal |
