Can any one suggest books on CFD applied to Incompressible inviscid flow?

(1). Do you think there is such application for incompressible, inviscid flows?

Katz and Plotkin's "Low Speed Aerodynamics" may be helpful. I believe a 2nd edition was just published. Do you have a specific application in mind?

Dear Dr.Rick Harris,

I am doing research on CFD applied to water waves interaction with coastal structures.

It means that water is incompressible, inviscid.

With these assumptions, we have to target the

wave-structure interaction problems.

Thanks for the comments

With warm regards

Dr.K.Thiruvenkatasamy

The aim is to study the wave-structure interaction problems of coastal structures using CFD techniques.

Water is incompressible, inviscid

Hello Dr. Thiruvenkatasamy;

I have found the following books useful for exploring numerical aspects of wave/structure interactions.

(1) Chakrabarti, S. K., Fluid Structure Interaction in Offshore Engineering, Computational Mechanics Publications, Boston, 1994.

(2) Faltinsen, O. M., Sea Loads on Ships and Offshore Structures, Cambridge University Press, 1990.

(3) Zienkiewicz, O. C., Lewis, R. W., and Stagg, K. G. (Eds), Numerical Methods in Offshore Engi*neering, Wiley, 1978.

Hope these are of use.

Regards,

Rick Harris
