Hi,

I'm looking for references on metastable state, that is, superheated liquid or supersaturated vapor. I'd like to know an accurate method to calculate temperature, internal energy, and other thermodynamic properties of gas in supersaturated vapor state.

thanks

Hush!

If you are dealing with the pure steam, the next book is valuable:

Wagner, W., and Kruse, A., 1998, "Properties of Water and Steam/Zustandsgroessen von wasser und wasserdampf/IAPWS-IF97", Springer-Verlag, Berlin, Heidelberg.

The first author also published some concering papers in different journals. You can try finding the papers too.

Hope it is helpful!
