Interpretation of Results
 
Hi friends,

I work on my master in external aerodynamics of vehicles and I got several books on Physical Fluid Dynamics, Fluid dynamics, CFD, FVM, Turbulence Modeling, vehicle aerodynamics...but all those didn't teach me how to interpret the results I get, how to know how the shape of vortices and wake affect the drag, lift, .... I need a book that can learn me this physical aspects..learn me how to read the visualized results in general, so please if you know any, tell me their names.

Try harder Danial... you may review some books on physics of turbulence..which books? I haven't run into one of them that answers your needs yet but I'll inform you when I do. Feel free to contact me if you needed any help.

(1). The problem is: what is your question? (2). You really need to ask a question related to a real problem, such as "how to calculate the lift for a wing?", thing like that. (3). You only presented the state of your mind only, it is not a question.

Sorry for the improper form of my question.

I already calculated the drag around a simplified bus shape and the velocity vectors around it and in the wake and I captured the main features of the flow in the wake... the main vortices out there. If I made a shape change and recalculated I'll get another drag value and a change in the flow features in the wake. the question is:

What is the book that can learn me how to give the reason for the change in drag due the change in wake structure? size and shape of vortices?

I searched some books on physical fluid dynamics, but the data there were very superficial.
