Reduced Navier-Stokes ?
 

In a reference I was reading, it mentioned the use of the Reduced Navier-Stokes equations. I am familiar with various reductions of the full NS equation set ( thin-layer, PNS, etc.), but I have not been able to find a description of exactly what is meant by the Reduced NS equations. Does anyone know what this refers to? Thanks!
