Hello, I want to map quantities of a flow field from a coarse (fine) mesh on to a fine (coarse) mesh conservatively.

Is there a well working numerical algorithm known? Or does somebody know literature on that topic?

Thank you very much, Uli

Uing Tecplot, Output Data function. It can output data to both finer or coarser grid. Good luck! Tingguang

Hi,

That is interesting. But where is the Output Data function? I am using TECPLOT 9.0.

Thanks.
