If you are interested in the pressure based method (SIMPLE algorithm and its family), I would like to recommend to read following papers.

(1) L. Davidson, 'A Pressure Correction Method for Unstructured Meshes with Arbitrary Control Volumes', Int. J. Numer. Methods Fluids, Vol. 22, pp.265-281, 1996.

(2) M. Thomadakis and M. Leschziner, 'A Pressure Correction Method for the Solution of Incompressible Viscous Flows on Unstructured Grids', Int. J. Numer. Methods Fluids, Vol. 22, pp.581-601, 1996.

(3) S. R. Mathur and J. Y. Murthy, 'A Pressure Based Method for Unstructured Meshes', Numer. Heat Transfer, Part B, Vol. 31, pp. 195-215, 1997.

I hope it helps.
